A 3 day class that will teach the student the basics of getting started with their digital camera.
February 5th: Introduction, navigating camera settings, The 3 elements of taking a photo, basics of temperature control, brackets, etc. Question and Answer
Feb 12th: Gear discussion. Len's, Tripod, lighting. Distinguishing lenses, and teaching when and how to use each lens. When and how to use a tripod. When and how to use natural and external lighting. Questions and Answers.
Feb 19th: Compostion and Subject matter. The golden mean. Edging and boxing. Choosing when to click. Questions and Answers. You will be invited on a class field trip on Saturday
Feb 26th from 4pm to sunset at the swampwalk in Ponchatoula where we will have hands on with everything we learned in class. This location and time gives us the option to photograph nature, landscape, and each other.
*Students required to provide their own camera and lens to attend class. Age 16 and up only. Paper and Pen's provided for note taking. This class is designed for entry level beginner photographers. If you are looking to expand on your hobby and/or established business, there will be another class for that in the near future. All sales final.
